Last Minute Gift Ideas For The Special People In Your Life
We are exactly one week until Christmas. Some of you may be done shopping, but I know that there are a few of you that may not be finished or are just starting your Christmas shopping.
Some of you may be panicking. I am here to tell you do not worry. There is still time to get all the presents you may need. The holidays look a little different this year so while you may not have the large family gatherings you are used to, we still have people we will be shopping for, like our immediate families, partners, and our quarantine bubbles.We may also have people in our neighbourhoods who we want to share a little extra Christmas spirit with. There are a few of our neighbours and people in our community who we have gotten to know better during these quarantine times just by seeing each other at the park more often, or just out and about since everyone is pretty much staying close to home if not at home.
I have been so busy with the girls and preparing things to make this unusual Christmas special for them that I am only now just getting to making a gift guide. So for that reason I am making it a last minute gift guide for all you late shoppers. This gift guide has been specially curated from local shops in the Leslieville area of Toronto so all the links lead to local shops. If you live in Toronto you can shop small and local as these stores will ship to anywhere in the city. If you aren’t in the city these items can be found in other stores so feel free to do a quick google search for the items you are interested to find where they sell and ship closer to you. This guide has two purposes, it’s a way I can help my community by sharing some my favourite finds from local shops while also being a means to help my readers discover fun and unique items for the special people in their lives. If you don’t live in Toronto you can still use this guide to help you come up with amazing gifts for your friends and family.
All the items on this guide are $40 and under for those of you on a budget. Since it is a week until Christmas and if you are buying from a small local shop, (wherever you are) you should order by the end of this weekend or most small shops may not be able to fulfill your orders by the 24th of December, even if you are doing curbside pickup.
